About CaroleMakes
I have always been a crafty, creative person. I enjoy it all: I learned to sew and quilt in grade school, cross stitch and scrapbook in high school, crochet and knit in college, and I learned to spin my own wool on a spinning wheel during my Masters Work. Since then, I have gotten into machine embroidery, dying wool, needle felting, jewelry making and Cricut crafting. I'm sure there's more too but that's the broad strokes of my creative enterprises.
The name of "CaroleMakes" was born after I heard so many people say, "I saw this project on Pinterest, I wish I knew someone who could make it!" Either I, or my friends would say, "Carole Makes it." So whatever your creative needs are, Carole can make it. We raise Angoras - English, French and giants for their fiber. You can tour our bunny barns via appointment. We are certified by Indiana Grown! We currently have 17 and over half of our adults are rescues or surrenders. We love to spoil them. Personally speaking, I am married and a mother to a beautiful girl who is finishing up 5th grade. She has definitely has inherited my creative abilities and you will see her occasionally in videos and pictures on the page. I have experience in Early Childhood Education as well as congregational and youth ministry in the Mennonite Church. I also enjoy reading, spending time with my family and dogs and playing video games. |
